A sunny Saturday today. I’m appreciating all of the good juju sent my way. Wanted to just let you know that I had a good apt with my physiotherapist Susan who specializes in working with mastectomy patients. She said I am about a month ahead of myself in terms of my range of motion. This was fantastic news. I will see her regularly during the whole reconstruction process and she said my goal of driving a golf ball by the end of the season is very realistic. That is promising.
My dear friends Teresa (https://www.facebook.com/teresa.grain?fref=gs&dti=669884566735143&hc_location=group) and Robert (https://www.facebook.com/robert.grain.9?fref=gs&dti=669884566735143&hc_location=group) are in town today and we are headed out for dinner with them tonight. My nausea seems a little better, more like waves that come and go rather than persistent torture so I’m looking forward to getting out and having some laughs. I’m sure Paul is too. Will nap this afternoon and then jump in that glorious experience called a shower!
One day at a time.
